Biochemical tests play a crucial role in investigating common female endocrine problems related to hormones such as oestrogen, luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin, and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).
Deficiencies or imbalances in these hormones can lead to a range of symptoms and health issues. Common symptoms of hormone deficiency include a decreased libido, which can affect intimate relationships and overall quality of life, weight gain that may be resistant to traditional weight loss methods, and irregular menstrual cycles, which can cause further complications such as infertility or hormonal imbalances.
Monitoring and addressing these hormone levels through biochemical tests can help in diagnosing and managing these endocrine issues, leading to improved health and well-being for women.
