A Consultant Who Sees You Himself

Dr Ali is one of the senior doctors behind IV therapy at Effect Doctors. He has practised internal medicine and infectious diseases in Saudi Arabia for twenty one years, and now consults at our Al Khobar clinic.

Dr Ali Alghamdi grew up in the Eastern Province and trained at King Faisal University in Dammam, completing the Saudi Board of Internal Medicine at King Fahad Military Medical Complex and an Adult Infectious Diseases Fellowship at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Riyadh.

He came to this work from internal medicine, drawn to infectious diseases as the field where careful diagnostic reasoning still changes outcomes most.

His career spans two decades of senior hospital medicine, including Director of the Infection Control Department and Deputy Director of Medical Administration at KFMMC, and supervising Saudi Board residents and fellows. In 2020 he served as Region Lead for the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program in Dammam.

At Effect Doctors Al Khobar he sees patients directly, personally consulting, assessing and prescribing. He takes a full internal medicine history before discussing any service, and declines treatments that offer no benefit to the patient in front of him.
