Dr Sultan is a hematology trained physician. He brings blood disorder expertise from King Abdulaziz Medical City to doctor led IV therapy at our Jeddah clinic.
Dr Sultan Almutairi grew up in Madinah and trained at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, before completing his residency in internal medicine at Dalhousie University in Canada from 2011 to 2014 and a hematology fellowship through to 2017, earning both Canadian FRCPC qualifications and the American Board in hematology.
Since 2018 he has served at King Abdulaziz Medical City in Jeddah managing benign and malignant blood disorders, alongside teaching medical students and speaking at national and regional conferences, with four publications in the field of hematology.
At Effect Doctors Jeddah he consults four days a week, understanding each client's needs and expectations before recommending the appropriate IV therapy, and overseeing protocols with a consultant's eye for what the blood work actually says.
What led him here: a fascination with recognising how issues across different body organs connect. That pull took him into internal medicine, then hematology.
Building good rapport with clients and earning their trust is the key to successful outcomes
