Dr. Sultan Al Ardi

Dr. Sultan Al Ardi is a Consultant Hematologist and Assistant Professor with extensive expertise in benign hematology and hemoglobinopathies.

He holds Canadian fellowships in Hematology and Internal Medicine from McMaster and Dalhousie Universities, in addition to a Master’s degree in Medical Education.

He currently serves as Consultant Hematologist and Director of the Benign Hematology Unit at King Abdulaziz Medical City, Jeddah, and contributes to national Saudi guidelines for sickle cell disease management.

Areas of Expertise:
• Benign hematology and hemoglobinopathies including sickle cell disease and thalassemia.
• Diagnosis and management of hematologic malignancies and bone marrow disorders.
• Clinical guideline development and healthcare quality improvement.
• Medical education and training of medical students and residents.

Dr. Sultan Al Ardi has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and is an active speaker and chairperson in regional and international hematology conferences. He is committed to advancing hematology practice and education in Saudi Arabia.
